The 863 Elite Fall Prep Volleyball League is a 6-week recreational volleyball program designed for athletes ages 8–16 who are looking to learn the game, develop their skills, and build confidence in a fun, positive, and structured environment.
Unlike many recreational leagues, 863 Elite Prep is built around athlete development. Every coach is provided with professionally designed weekly practice plans, age-appropriate drills, and a structured skill progression curriculum that outlines the techniques and fundamentals athletes should achieve throughout the season. This creates a consistent learning experience and ensures every player receives quality instruction.
Our mission is to help every athlete develop a strong volleyball foundation while fostering confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for the game. As players continue to progress, they can choose to further their development by participating in 863 Elite Mini Club or trying out for one of our Competitive Club Volleyball teams.
One of the hallmarks of the 863 Elite Prep League is that every athlete receives equal playing time. Our focus is on teaching the game, developing skills, and creating a positive experience for every player—not just winning matches.
863 Elite Fall Prep Volleyball League
The 863 Elite Prep Volleyball League is a six-week recreational volleyball program designed to introduce athletes to the game while continuing to develop players who already have volleyball experience.
Our program focuses on fundamental skill development, overall athletic ability, teamwork, confidence, discipline, and an understanding of the game in a fun, structured, and competitive environment.
Whether your athlete is stepping onto the court for the first time or looking for another opportunity to improve their skills, our Prep League provides an environment where athletes can learn, grow, compete, and have fun!

Divisions may be adjusted based on registration numbers to provide the best competitive balance and overall experience for all participants.
Practices
Each team will practice once per week for one hour.
Practice Begins: October 7, 2026
Practice days may fall on:
Monday
Tuesday
Thursday
Friday
Practice schedules will not be finalized until closer to the beginning of the season.
Practice start times may be as early as 6:00 PM and as late as 8:00 PM.
Teams are not guaranteed a specific practice day or time.
Match Play
Each team will play one match per week.
Games will be played on Saturdays, generally from the morning through early afternoon.
Teams will have approximately three weeks of practices before league matches begin, giving athletes time to learn fundamentals, build confidence, understand team concepts, and develop chemistry with their teammates before competition begins.
Registration
Season Cost: $135 per athlete
Registration includes:
One 863 Elite Prep League jersey
Six-week recreational volleyball season

Instruction from trained volunteer coaches
Equipment Requirements
For the safety and preparation of all athletes, participants must provide:
Knee pads — REQUIRED
Volleyball shoes or athletic court shoes
Athletic shorts, spandex, or leggings
Water bottle
Player Evaluations
Evaluation Date: To Be Determined
Player evaluations help us create teams that are as balanced and competitive as possible.
While evaluations are not mandatory, we strongly encourage every athlete to attend.
Athletes who are unable to attend evaluations will still be placed on a team.
Volunteer Coaches
Our Prep League is made possible by dedicated volunteer coaches who are passionate about helping young athletes learn, develop, and enjoy the game of volleyball.
To help provide a safe environment for every participant, all volunteer coaches undergo an annual background screening.
Team Sponsorships
Community support plays an important role in the continued growth and success of our Prep League. We welcome local businesses and individuals who would like to support athletes throughout our community.
Team Sponsorship: $300
Sponsorships help support equipment, uniforms, and the overall recreational volleyball experience provided to our athletes.
