863 Mini Club Developmental:
Our Mini Club Developmental league is for athletes 8U-15U who are intermediate to “beginner” level and may or may not have had some previous exposure to the sport. The league focuses on teaching the skills and techniques to develop the FUNdamental skills for volleyball, including passing, setting, attacking, serving, and rotations.
This program allows these athletes to be seen and possibly even move up to a Club team! In previous years, we have moved several athletes from our Developmental Mini Club Teams and placed them on Teams for the current year's Club Season. The 863 Elite Mini Club Developmental League gives these athletes the same opportunity to achieve high-level training and the chance to develop mental toughness to compete during practices and tournaments.
863 Elite Mini Club:
Our Elite Mini Club is an advanced opportunity league for our experienced volleyball athletes and their upcoming volleyball season. Play Top Teams or higher age groups at tournaments to elevate your IQ of the game and prepare you for your upcoming club season. The 863 Elite Mini Club Season gives our advanced athletes a head start in training for their upcoming season by providing high-level training and the chance to develop team cohesiveness and chemistry while competing in practices and tournaments.
863 focuses on the athlete's overall abilities, development of fundamental skills, team building skills, and practice discipline.

Playing Time Defined
MINI is not REC, it is to prepare the athlete for Competitive Club.
Playing time is determined at the sole discretion of the coaching staff and is not guaranteed. It is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, a lineup for each competition that will lead to success on the court. Playtime is a very complex determination. It includes the coach’s opinion, the athlete’s ability, the athlete’s potential, the team’s needs/game strategy at the moment, the momentum of the game, the number of subs remaining, and the team’s needs for the future. The coach will not be required to defend his/her thought process or conclusions in these determinations, and it is improper for a parent to make such a request.
