This is the time for your athlete to show us what it means to be Elite.

Playing Time Defined
At 863 Elite Volleyball Academy, playing time is not guaranteed and is determined solely at the discretion of the coaching staff. This decision is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to:
Playing time decisions are complex and multifaceted, involving both objective and subjective considerations. As such, coaches are not obligated to explain or justify their decisions regarding playing time.
We kindly ask that parents respect this policy and refrain from requesting explanations, as such conversations are considered inappropriate.
Our goal is to foster a competitive and growth-oriented environment where all athletes have the opportunity to develop their skills and contribute to the team.

Are travel expenses included in Club dues?
Travel is not included in the dues and must be booked by parents individually. That includes airfare, lodging, transportation to/from the facility, entry for family members into facility, and meals. We will provide the required hotel information to our travel parent. They will then share with the team. Please book ASAP as hotels fill up quickly. All players that qualify for the USAV Nationals will pay an additional fee of $400.
Understanding Tournament Divisions in Club Volleyball
“Open” is the highest level of competition at tournaments, followed by “USA” and “Club.” However, at national qualifiers, the divisions expand to include:
If a team is competitive enough to play at the Open level, we will absolutely place them there. That said, we are committed to placing each team in the division that best matches their current skill level and competitive readiness. We believe this is the most effective way for athletes to grow, gain confidence, and continue developing their game.
Please note that not all divisions are offered at every tournament. Divisions are determined by the tournament directors, and their availability can vary by event.
All USAV tournaments we participate in are considered Level 1 ranking events, ensuring our teams compete at a high level regardless of division placement.
ARE ATHLETES REQUIRED TO STAY IN THE SAME HOTEL?
Yes, we are required to stay at specific hotels due to the “Stay and Play” policy for most tournaments. The "Stay and Policy" is only in effect for tournaments greater than 75 miles away.
WHAT ARE THE TRAVEL DAYS FOR THE OUT-OF-TOWN TOURNAMENTS?
We travel the day before tournament play begins. Return flights should be booked any time after 6:00 pm on the final day of the tournament to avoid having to forfeit in the finals or incur change fees/missed flights.
WHEN TRAVELING, CAN WE PACK SHOES AND UNIFORM GEAR IN CHECKED LUGGAGE?
NO, no, no….if the bag is lost, the player will not be able to play. Each player must carry their gear—PACK SHOES, ALL JERSEYS, SHORTS, AND ANY & ALL GEAR IN YOUR BACKPACK SO IT FITS UNDER THE SEAT. This eliminates the risk of a carry-on gate check when overhead space is filled. The player should never be separated from their gear!!!
WHAT IF I AM UNABLE TRAVEL TO AN OUT-OF-TOWN TOURNAMENT?
We ask that you make arrangements for your daughter to stay with another family/parent. Players are not allowed to stay in a room by themselves. Please make sure that your child is either traveling with a surrogate family or booked on the coaches’ flight. Also, please ensure your child takes enough money for meals, which could include breakfast, lunch and dinner and for any healthy snacks.
